This is a Victorian Harvest Flagon of copper construction with VR in a crown stamp so dated to mid to late 1800's. There is also a 2 gallon stamp upon its breast. These flagons were used in the fields for refreshing the labourers and are sometimes also called Haystack Tavern Jugs. The lack of age related dinks and marks makes this flagon a true rarity.
